The winners of the first Amica Care Trust Awards have been announced, with colleagues across our 5 care homes and 4 independent living sites recognised for their hard work and dedication throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.
A huge thank you to Howdens in Exmouth for inviting us to their Trade Day on Thursday 19th August 2021 and helping us raise over £300 – and counting! – for our Exmouth House residents.
This year Amica Care Trust’s annual Gardening Competition saw a number of outstanding creations submitted from across our care homes and independent living sites.
Our Amica Care homes held an uplifting service to commemorate residents who passed away over the last year. Residents and staff, along with the families whose loved ones had passed away over the last 16 months, came together for a moving afternoon of remembrance.
Amica Care Trust’s staff and residents will be hosting their annual ‘Forget Me Not’ celebration on Sunday 18th July to reflect upon the events of the last year.
Amica Care is going to be using TAP (Thank And Praise), a free-to-use social thanking platform, which enables residents and their relatives to show their appreciation to all those working for the Trust.
To mark Dementia Action Week, residents of Signature House in Dorchester welcomed an adorable guest. A tiny lamb came to visit to get some love and affection from our residents.
