Celebrations were in the air at St John’s Court Nursing Home as Resident, Robina, celebrated her 60th wedding anniversary alongside her husband, Ken.

Parties and celebrations have taken place at Amica Care's four Homes as residents enjoyed the Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

They attended indoor street parties, listened to live music and watched the celebrations unfold live on TV as they joined in the national festivities.

Congratulations to Kathryn Langdon who recently got appointed as Home Manager at Exmouth House Care Home. 

Residents of St John's Court Nursing Home kept very busy this January. The Activities Team helped our residents try varied and stimulating activity programs, which everyone enjoyed.

Thank you to all of the staff and residents who did such a fantastic job decorating their homes fro both our Christmas Competitions this year.  The standard was exceptional with some very different ideas. Well Done everyone who took part.

The team at Signature House in Dorchester swapped their uniforms for elves costumes to help raise awareness for the Alzheimer's Society. 

Our Homes celebrated Halloween with a week of spook-tacular activities.

The winners of the first Amica Care Trust Awards have been announced, with colleagues across our 5 care homes and 4 independent living sites recognised for their hard work and dedication throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.

Our Amica Care homes held an uplifting service to commemorate residents who passed away over the last year. Residents and staff, along with the families came together for a moving afternoon of remembrance. 

Amica Care is going to be using TAP (Thank And Praise), a free-to-use social thanking platform, which enables residents and their relatives to show their appreciation to all those working for the Trust.
