The board of trustees, who are also the directors, are responsible for governance and for ensuring that the policies, plans and resources are in place to deliver the strategic objectives of the trust. The trustees work on a voluntary basis and have a wealth of experience to support the Executive Leadership Team.

Eve is a Specialist Executive with over 20 years experience leading transformation and embedding change across every setting of health care.  She brings a passion for helping organisations to re-focus and re-energise, with the objective of continuously improving quality and instigating sustainable organisational and culture change.

She is delighted to take on the role of Chair, to have the opportunity to be part of an organisation that continues to achieve exceptional care and support, whilst moving forward together into the next phase of development.

Other interests include; Board Trustee, StopGap Dance Company, the first company in the UK to integrate dancers with a learning or physical disability and non-disabled dancers.   Safe staffing Topic Lead at Patient Safety Learning, a charity and independent voice for system wide change.  Promoting the reduction of avoidable harm and identifying action needed.   Cub Leader, Honiton 1st Scout Group, a recent recruit to the Scout Group - Eve is 'King Louie!

Since qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 1987, Will has worked in a number of senior finance roles helping SME businesses achieve their growth objectives across a variety of different sectors. These have included construction, manufacturing, payment card processing, and, most recently, the care industry where Will spent 5 years as Finance Director of Hartford Care Group Limited.

After retiring from the commercial world, Will is focussed on making a positive contribution in value-driven organisations within the Not-For-Profit sector utilising his commercial skills and experience in order to be able to give something back. Other roles include that of trustee at the charity Ben – The Motor & Allied Trades Benevolent Fund which provides health and well-being support to all those who work in the motor trade. It also provides continuing care and support in later life through its three care homes and operates a retirement village for more independent living.

In his spare time, Will enjoys training for his next charity fundraising trek, walking the dogs, listening to The Boss, and following his North London football team.

Since retiring in 2005 from a career in management with Sun Alliance, Graham has been involved in further education, housing associations non-executive directorships and charity appointments. Graham is also Chair of the Trustees for a charity supporting   disadvantaged young people and families in the South–East.

Vanda worked in the NHS for over 40 years within community nursing roles and safeguarding. She also has experience of working as a nurse consultant within care homes. She is currently Chair of the Somerset branch of the Royal College of  Nursing, a parish councillor, a member of Villages Together and a trustee for Dementia Alliance for Sedgemoor.

Gary is a fully qualified HRM professional with over 35 years experience in HR management within a variety of employment sectors including; private education, service, leisure and tourism, telecoms, public and not-for-profit.  He has worked for such employers as; BT, National Childrens' Home, British Red Cross, Waltham Forest Specialist Housing Consortium, Greenwich Dome (O2 Arena), a US owned University (as London Campus HR Director) and a privately owned London based independent school where he was Head of HR.

Gary is now a freelance HR Consultant, specialising in dispute resolution.

Over the past 40 years Jacqueline has been a bookkeeper in the engineering sector; also, for the past 30 years, she has been a treasurer and acting member of West Bromwich Operatic Society, performing in many musicals in local theatres. She also sang and entertained residents in a variety of Nursing and Residential homes across the West Midlands.

Alan’s long career was within the manufacturing industry and he retired as Operations Director of Westland Helicopters Ltd in Somerset. Since retirement he has been a trustee and Chair of Westland's pension scheme and Taunton Heritage Trust. He has also been significantly involved in a number of local community projects.

Anna Warman

Anna has worked within the Facilities structure of the NHS for over 35 years.  Starting her career as a Chef, Anna developed her knowledge and experience to grow through various positions to become Senior Manager within Soft Facilities Management.  Anna is secretary for the Hospital Caterers Association South West Branch, a role she has held for several years and continues to enjoy.  She is also the Learning & Development Lead for the Association of Healthcare Cleaning Professionals Western Branch

Following retirement in 2015, John took on roles in a number of charitable and professional organisations. He was appointed as a Trustee of Amica (then SRT) in 2016 and was Amica Care's Chair of Trustees from 2017 until 2024. His professional background was as a Chartered Town Planner. He worked across the UK and internationally as a Managing Director and Operations Board member of a multidiscipline environmental consultancy.
