Queen’s Nurse. Mandy Bugler, Home Manager at Signature House Care Home in Dorchester, has been given the prestigious title of Queen’s Nurse (QN) by community nursing charity, The Queen’s Nursing Institute (QNI).

Amica Care Trust would like to say a big thank you to everyone for your outstanding efforts in creating the most colourful gardens this year, John Whittaker, Chair of the Trustees and I had the most enjoyable two days and were extremely impressed by the high standard, which made our job very difficult.

St John's Court Care Home was transformed to the year of 1929, New Years Eve.
Everyone dressed the part to enjoy card games including poker, an array of alcoholic beverages prior to counting down to the new year.
As soon as midnight struck, the murder mystery commenced, who did it……..?
Residents and staff members teamed up to solve the many riddles which then led on to the hunting of the clues around the home.
After interrogating the witnesses and being able to ask the characters questions, it was concluded…..
‘It was Edgar, in the lounge, that used the broken glass bottle to kill Felix Fotano the club owner!!! Why? Because Felix was funding Edgar’s film and pulled out of funding as Edgar was having an affair with Edith, Felix’s wife!’
