Why choose us
Choosing the right care home for your loved one can be a difficult task – especially if their needs are complex. At Signature House, we provide not only specialist care for residents with dementia or disabilities but also the opportunity for regular enrichment through daily activities and socialisation.
Our staff are highly trained to sympathetically manage the unpredictable nature of dementia, meaning that your relative will receive both the physical and mental assistance that they require. What we promote is a dignified and respectful approach to residents that is enriched through socialisation in our separate lounges and dining rooms. Discover more about our dementia care here.
For residents with specific medical needs we offer 24-hour personalised care from qualified on-site nurses and cater for specific dietary requirements. Our bedrooms feature en suite wet rooms and motion sensors for added safety, meaning that your relative will be in a safe environment at all times. Find out more about our nursing care here.
Finally, at Signature House we also offer both respite and day care services – allowing carers either to renew energy or complete necessary tasks at home without the need to worry about their elderly or disabled relative. If you are thinking about using respite care for the first time and are worried about the transition, we offer potential residents the opportunity to spend the day with us – at no cost – to build familiarity with a new environment before a longer stay. Discover more about respite or day care here.
Signature House is located in the Brewery Square complex of Dorchester.
