Construction Milestone Reached at Greenlands Meadow

Exciting progress is being made at Greenlands Meadow, Amica Care’s brand-new, 68-bed luxury nursing home in Taunton. As construction continues on schedule, the development marks a significant investment in delivering high-quality, person-centred care for the local community.

A key construction milestone has now been reached, with the building fully watertight. This allows internal works to move ahead at pace and brings the vision for this beautiful new home one step closer to reality.

Sustainability is also a central part of the project. Solar panels have been installed as part of Amica Care’s commitment to environmental responsibility and long-term energy efficiency, helping to reduce the home’s environmental footprint while supporting a greener future.

Meanwhile, the Marketing Suite is taking shape and remains on track to open in early May. This space will give prospective residents and their families the opportunity to experience a preview of Greenlands Meadow’s thoughtfully designed, modern living environment.

Alongside this construction update, Amica Care is delighted to welcome Callum Pearce as Commissioning Manager for Greenlands Meadow. Callum brings extensive experience from successfully managing both residential and dementia care homes. His strong leadership, operational expertise and passion for person-centred care make him ideally placed to lead the home into its opening phase.

The home is set to open later this year and will bring exceptional, modern care provision to Taunton and the surrounding communities.
