We are delighted to announce that the Amica Care Trust Awards are back for their second year. Do you know an Amica Care staff member who deserves special recognition for the work they do?

What are the Trust Awards?
The Trust Awards provide an excellent opportunity to recognise Amica Care employees who have made a positive difference to our residents, staff or the Trust in general. Please choose what you feel to be the most suitable category from the list below. Don’t worry if you’re not sure - some nominees may fit in more than one category, so please choose all categories that you think apply. Nominations will be open until 15th May
Home winners will be chosen by a judging panel from a neighbouring home. All Homes winners then get entered into the overall Trust Awards, who get judged by the Amica Care Trustees.
What are the categories?
There are 11 categories this year.
| Care Hero | Nominate a care employee that deserves recognition for their outstanding contribution to resident’s care |
| Support Colleague of the Year | Nominate someone in maintenance, admin, kitchen, laundry, activities, housekeeping that goes above and beyond to support the residents and the team |
| Nurse of the Year | Nominate a nurse that deserve recognition for their outstanding contribution to resident’s care |
| Leader of the Year | Nominate someone who always leads by example, championing others and inspires you to do your best everyday |
| Positive Attitude Award | Nominate someone that always has a smile on their face and sees the best in every situation |
| Living our Values | Nominate someone who demonstrates our values of, positive attitude, kindness and respect, open and honesty, teamwork and Passion and Joy in everything they do |
| Always Growing Award | Nominate someone, who loves to learn new things and is developing their knowledge |
| Newcomer of the Year | Nominate someone that has started within the last year that has made a big impact on your team |
| Team Player of the Year | Nominate someone that is always going that extra mile to help their team and is a real cheerleader |
| Support Office Hero | Nominate someone from support office who you feel has gone above and beyond their role in assisting you and the home |
| Best Home | Nominate your home to be in the running for best home! |
How do I vote?
All nominations can be submitted online at: bit.ly/ACTAwards2022 before 15th May. Nomination slips will be made available in the home, however, if you can, please favour online submissions.
When will the winners be announced?
We are hoping to announce the Home winners by the end of June and the overall Trust winners by the end of July.
